PODS Provides Containers to Organizations Supporting Maui Wildfire Relief

It has been heartbreaking to witness the destruction of recent wildfires on the people, homes, businesses, and historical sites of Maui. At PODS, we want to support the Maui community as it seeks to process, heal, and ultimately recover from this tragedy.

PODS is partnering with Pasha Hawaii, a leading shipping company in the Hawaii/Mainland trade lane, to support emergency relief efforts on the island. PODS is making available for use a portion of its local container inventory to Native Hawaiian support and community-based organizations and will work with Pasha to distribute the containers to local organizations. We hope this partnership can provide the resources organizations require to collect, store, and distribute supplies to those in need.

In addition, we are working with Pasha to transport all containers from Oahu to Maui at no cost. This is an essential aspect of the relief effort, as it reduces the financial burden on support organizations and ensures their work is not contingent on the number of storage containers they can afford with limited funds.

Bringing relief to Maui will require a dedicated effort from businesses and individuals alike. At PODS, we are proud to support the people of Maui as they begin the work to rebuild their community. We’ll continue to work with our partners and the community to understand the evolving needs and how else we can assist.
